Elevate Nail and Spa

I would give this place ZERO STARS if I could. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience, and I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. The staff was rude and completely unprofessional. During my pedicure, I told them that my toe was hurting BADLY, and instead of showing concern or stopping to make sure everything was okay, they continued. After the pedicure, I developed a fungus on my toe — something I have never had an issue with before this visit. What makes this even worse is that after I clearly told them how much pain I was in, they still had the nerve to ask me for a TIP. No concern about whether I was okay — just worried about getting tipped. A nail salon should make cleanliness, sanitation, and the safety of its customers a priority. After my experience, I have serious concerns about this place. Rude service, a painful pedicure, and now I’m dealing with a toe fungus afterward. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR FEET. I will NEVER go back. There are plenty of other nail salons that actually care about their customers. I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

I’ve been coming to Elevate Nails since I was around 6 years old (15 years!) back when they were originally Rose Nail Salon. Everyone is so welcoming and very sweet. They have taken care of me ever since and basically watched me grow up from family vacation nails, to prom, to high school graduation, and now college graduation. I know there’s a LOT of nail salons in Eastchester now, but Elevate Nails is truly the best and amazing. Love you guys!!!

I had been looking for a nail salon in the area and decided to try Elevate in April 2025 for a basic gel pedicure. I HAVE NEVER HAD A WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Let’s start with the atmosphere. First of all the place is DIRTY, which became especially evident when the lady pulled out filthy and unsanitized tools to do my pedicure. She then proceeded to use an electric nail buffer ON MY SKIN… on HIGH SPEED! When I tell you how painful it was, I had cuts on nearly all of my toes (picture included). She then put scented cuticle oil on the cuts which BURNED my skin and argued with me when I told her to take it off because it was hurting me. When it came time to pay, I was shocked at the $70 bill, which seems outrageous even for the Eastchester area for a basic, single color gel pedicure. I paid the bill and walked out. As I was getting in my car, the lady who did my pedicure FOLLOWED ME INTO THE PARKING LOT AND DEMANDED A TIP! When I told her I thought I gave her a tip on the credit card, she goes “don’t you have cash?”. I could not believe it. I will never set foot in this salon again. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
